Richard Verney

Director of Sales - East, 2XU North America

A marketing and sales expert, Mr. Verney previously spent 10 years with a specialty direct marketing company, Modern Postcard. The business experienced a 30% increase in sales as a result of Mr. Verney’s development of mailing services and corporate sales divisions. He shared in the responsibility for the company’s growth in sales from $15 million to $45 million over nine years. Prior to Modern Postcard, Mr. Verney developed sales channels to include direct to consumer, retail, and wholesale sales for a start-up nutrition supplement company, PR Nutrition, which was purchased by TwinLabs in 1997 for $40 million. 

Mr. Verney has an accomplished endurance athlete history, finishing his 24th Boston marathon and qualifying for the Hawaiian Ironman race. His intimate knowledge of athletes needs for athletic products combined with his proven sales and marketing abilities, make Mr. Verney an essential member of the company’s management team.
